Photography has always been my first creative love. Before books, before nonprofits, before I ever dreamed of taking center stage, there was a camera in my hand.

I’ve spent the last several years focusing on storytelling in new forms, publishing, filmmaking, and building Brown Girls Do Ballet, but I’m so happy to be back behind the lens. Some Sweet Photo is where it all began.
